BATHROOM GLOW UP — Dated to Dreamy Client Bathroom Reveal

Today we’re excited to share a client bathroom reveal! This bathroom had great bones but was stuck in the early 2000s — braided trim, a giant bathtub with a step-up, and color tones that leaned a little too orange to feel elevated or spa-like.

Natalie had saved some stunning inspiration and told us she was especially drawn to our Park Place bathroom. So when she called, we had a feeling it was going to be a good one.

Below, we’re sharing all the sources from the project, plus a few savvy ways we chose to save — and where we felt it was worth it to splurge.

BEFORE

Layout Tweaks That Made a Big Difference

We always start with a plan which includes time focused on the layout with the client’s use in mind. Natalie had two massive towers flanking her vanity for towel storage — functional, yes, but didn’t flow well with the strange corner. So we gave her two layout options and ended up relocating one of the towers into an awkward corner of the bathroom. Suddenly, the space felt intentional.

Cabinetry

Natalie originally had her heart set on white oak cabinetry, but that would’ve meant demo-ing all her existing cabinets. And while we’re big believers in investing where it counts, her current cabinets were really high-quality knotty alder — not refinishable for the look she wanted, but way too nice to just toss.

So instead of a full gut, we helped her keep the cabinet boxes and add new doors. Then, we painted everything a gorgeous green — pulling from the custom cabinetry in her laundry room. It was the perfect tie-in. As for the white oak she loved? We brought that in through custom storage towers made by her cabinet maker.

Zellige Tile

Natalie had one non-negotiable: Zellige tile. We totally get it. It adds so much warmth and texture to a space and instantly made her bathroom feel custom.

To balance the splurge, we kept the flooring simple so it wouldn’t compete, and we designed a tub ledge to wrap the tile across the room. It was inspired by the Park Place project and gave us a chance to layer materials and create moments of function and beauty (yes, a ledge for salts and your phone to watch your favorite YouTube channel is absolutely functional 😉).

Every Detail in One Place

We’ve gathered every paint color, tile, mirror, accessory, and even the art we hung temporarily (yes, we borrowed one from Mom’s bathroom mid-install 😅).

  • PAINT COLOR – SW SAGE GREEN LIGHT
  • TILE – ZIA ZELLIEGE
  • TUB FILLER
  • MIRRORS
  • COUNTERTOPS *waiting for our countertop installer to remind me of the name but it’s a very natural looking Quartz*
  • CHANDELIER
  • FAN
  • ART
  • STOOLthe exact stool is discontinued from Target but this is a great alternative for less

Let’s us know if you see anything missing that you’d like added to the list. If you’re taking inspiration for your own bathroom project, this list will save you hours.
